Eide Bailly has added Gary Smith, who joined the firm on June 1, to its financial institutions team as a partner. Smith worked with McGladrey from August 1993 through May and served as a managing director there from 2005 through November 2011.

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service has named D. Michael Williams to the position of senior vice president and chief marketing officer. He takes over the position that was held by Debra Dowd from June 2010 through May 2012 and will again work under the company's CEO Philip Sanford.
