A federal court has permanently barred Miami, Fla.-based tax preparers, Sharon Angulo and Claudia Zuloaga, from preparing federal tax returns for others, The government took the action complaining that the two used form 1099-OID to report fictitious income tax withholding.

Historically, ninety-five percent of all tax software users renew the product that they used in the previous tax season.
