Sage has put Jennifer Warawa back in charge of its accountant program. Warawa is taking over the company's channel operations with the new title of EVP of partners, accountants, and alliances as accountant program rearranged people and executive titles this week.
Her new position previously held by Alan Laing, who has become managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In her new role, Warawa reports to Sage's North American president, Blair Crump. Warawa had been served as EVP of product marketing since May 2016.
Before that, she was in charge of the accountant program for three years, combined with other responsibilities. Her prior job goes to Nick Goode, previously EVP of product management, with the two areas combined under him as EVP of product. Both Goode and Warawa assumed their previous jobs in May 2016.
Nancy Harris, who had been EVP of Sage's North American partner and accountant business, is now managing director for North America.
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
