Van Roekel become vice-chairman of BDO, in which role he will work with the global board and CEO to deal with the network's strategic priorities, including China and Hong Kong.
Farlinger has been the Americas CEO since July 2015 and served as CEO of BDO Canada from October 2008 through July 2015. He worked at BDO Dunwoody from September 1996 through September 2008 where he was Toronto region managing partner.
