Tom Watson had been named as managing partner of BKD's Dallas-Waco practice. Watlson is the South Region industry leader for the BKD National Health Care Group and began his career at BKD as a staff intern in 1991 and then took a full-time position in the firm's Little Rock, Ark., office the following year.

EisnerAmper has named James Mack to head its Insurance Industry Practice. That group serves more than 125 property and casualty, life and healthcare insurance clients. Mack also leads the firm's Consulting Services Group.

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters predicts that the number of users of Mobile CS will triple this year. The company reports that there are more than 1,000 active user accounts. With the product's growth rate at about 15 percent a month, Thomson says the user base should reach 3,000 active accounts in 2012. Read more...
