John Horner, ArmaninoArmanino has named technology practice leaders, John Dunican and John Horner, as partners of the San Ramon, Calif.-based accounting firm. Dunican, who joined Armanino in 2005, leads the firm's Adaptive Planning consulting practice and serves as consulting partner for CFO Advisory Services. South Carolina Preparers Draw Ban

Justice logoTwo South Carolina women have been banned from preparing federal tax returns for others. The Justice Department obtained an injunction that permanently bars Rachel D. Watson, of Florence, and Susan Allen of Darlington, S.C., as preparers. The two were also required to send copies of the injunction to any employers for whom they prepared returns since Jan. 1, 2008.
