Intuit Vet McGinnis Joins WK

Jim McGinnis, Wolters KluwerJim McGinnis, a former Intuit executive, has joined the Tax and Accounting division of Wolters Kluwer. McGinnis takes on the job of EVP and GM of the medium and large segment for the business unit. He will report to the tax and accounting group's CEO Jason Marx.

He takes over the position left vacant when Heffy Provost left to become CEO of Agdata in June.

McGinnis now leads the large- and medium-firm segment in North America. He will oversee strategy across business across sales, marketing, customer services and product management.

McGinnis worked at Intuit from October 2010 through March 2017 where he was a VP. His experience including leading the accountant and advisor group which had responsibility for the launch of QuickBooks Online. He then became VP of product management for the company's ProConnect Group in September 2016.
