Rippling Expands EOR Program 2

Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those
They can also import thousands of entries in seconds, versus 30 minutes.

Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has reported organic revenue growth 3 percent for the nine months end September 30. The company attributed the improvement to the continuing shift towards the use of software. Overall, Wolters Kluwer said revenue was up 2 percent before currency and also up 2 percent after the impact of currency exchange.

The Tax & Accounting Business of Thomson Reuters resumed its growth path in the third quarter ended September 30. In the second quarter, the unit saw a 13-percent drop in operating profit on a 1-percent increase in revenue. But with the third quarter, operating profit was up 15 percent, 10 percent before currency, with revenue rising 5 percent, 6 percent before currency.
Xero Shakes Up Leadership
Xero has shaken up its executive team with Russell Fujioka, president of the Americas, leaving this year after 18 months with the company. Globally, chief marketing and revenue officer Andy Lark, based in Australia, is also leaving the cloud software company after two years and two months in his job.
CCH Axcess Portal Gets New Client Interface

The CCH Axcess Portal has been given a client new interface, CCH Client Axcess. Rewritten using HTML5 and principles of responsive design the features are similar to the client-facing ones in the Microsoft Silverlight version of Client Axcess Portal, Wolters Kluwer says.
Intacct Eyes Public Offering within Year
Cloud software vendor Intacct is moving toward an initial public offering withinthe next year. The statement was made this week by CEO Robert Reid, CEO at the company's Advantage conference this week and represents a reversal of the direction the company appeared to be going a year ago.

Abila has added a redesigned reporting engine to its MIP Fund Accounting and MIP Advance applications. The company calls the reporting engine for its nonprofit applications intuitive. Abila said the engine is backed by a report queue intended for quick viewing, searching, and downloading of reports within the web-based MIP Advance user interface.
CCH Axcess Integration Taking Off
Wolters Kluwer says the use of its Open Integration Platform by tax and accounting firms is taking off. Firms can utilize the Software Development Kit for CCH Axcess to develop their own applications on top of the company's cloud-based suite.
Wolters Kluwer to Grow Small Firm Line Up
Wolters Kluwer is continuing to consider applications to add to product line up for its Small Firm Services. The company added ProSystem fx for Small Firms in September and most recently CPE-Link to the applications that it is offering to its small firm clients.
E&Y to Pay $11.8M in Energy Case
Ernst & Young will pay more than $11.8 million to settle charges that one partner and a former partner ignored red flags in audits of an oil services company. The Securities and Exchange Commission says Craig Fronckiewicz, the partner who coordinated the audits, and former tax partner, Sarah Adams, who was part of the audit engagement team, missed the use of deceptive income tax accounting to inflate Weatherford International's earnings.
Blackbaud Hires Education, Healthcare Heads

Nonprofit software vendor Blackbaud has hired presidents of two groups that address key vertical markets. The Charleston, S.C.-based company has picked Tim Hill, as president of its Higher Education Solutions group and, Russ Cobb, as president of its Healthcare Solutions group.
