Canopy Enhances Software

Canopy has updated its tax resolution and practice management software. Among the enhancements introduced this week are the ability of the Client Portal mobile app for clients of users to complete the e-signature process.

 This includes the ability of  iOS users to  scan documents to the client portal from their phones. The feature will be available to Android users last this month. Canopy has also made it possibility for clients of users to complete the e-signature process via the Client Portal mobile app.

In addition, scan-to functionality has been added to the Canopy Desktop Assistant. Once the assistant is download users can print or scan documents directly to Canopy.  Another feature is global client request, which enable enables users create client requests as their own separate tasks or as a subtask from the global add icon.

Additionally, updated pricing on knowledge-based authentication credit pricing means users pay $1.25 per signature, a 50-percen decrease. And within the next month, users can purchase the credits directly within Canopy.

Also, users  can now save transcripts to contact files, and additional enhancements to  download and print options were released.

A new projects dashboard for the company’s Canopy’s Practice Management  can track the time spent on specific services. Users can also create a new project, add assignees, designate services, and distribute budgeted project hours. The dashboard will be available this month..
