Firm of Future 2018 Selection Opens

Rich Preece, IntuitIntuit is now accepting submissions for its 2018 Global Firm of the Future contest. The selection is open to firms based in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States and, for the first time, India. The competition is open to bookkeeping and full-service accounting and tax firms.

New this year, firms are also asked to include a story of how they have helped a small business client overcome a challenge and achieve success.

To submit an entry, firms must provide 200 or words or less reporting the number of small business clients and the percentage of clients using QuickBooks Online. Firms should explain how they save time for clients via cloud-based applications including QuickBooks and third-party applications.

Intuit will then provide a videographer and producer for each finalist to create vidoes focusing on what qualifies each firm to be selected as a Firm of the Future.  Videos will be available via an online gallery for public voting from October 16 through 31.

Five finalists will be selected by Rich Preece, global leader of the Accountant Segment, Small Business and Self Employed Group, along with a global panel of judges from the organization. They will select finalists from each country, along with 10 runners-up from all submissions, regardless of location.

Winners will receive cash prizes and an all-expense paid trip to Intuit’s QuickBooksConnect conference from November 5 through 7 in San Jose, Calif. The grand prize winner will be announced at that conference. Those interested can enter by visiting http://intuit.me/FOTF2018.
