The Burlington, Ont.-based organization offers full-cycle bookkeeping, small business advisory services, accounting software conversion to Intuit products and QuickBooks training and support. The company also launched Kninja Knetwork Division, online education and support community, to help bookkeepers move their practices to the cloud.
The announcement was made during this week's QuickBooks Connect conference in San Jose, Calif.
AIS, which has a staff of 12, started life as Aurora International Services in 2000, founded by Juliet Aurora when she decided she would rather not move her family to Houston, Texas, when her employer relocated.
The other finalists each receive a $5,000 cash prize. They are AllThatCounts, based in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, Australia; and Business Works UK of Garforth, U.K.; and Business Cents of Spokane, Wash.
