It was just only a few years ago that when a client asked me to recommend them a cloud-based accounting application I had few options to offer. And now, seemingly out of the blue, there are many. Many good ones.

When Google held its annual I/O Conference for its developers and partners, it announced a bunch of new products and services. This is a company that doesn’t stop innovating. But those are among the Top 20 Trends covered by the K2 Enterprises consultant and CPA in his technology update at the recent AICPA Tech+ Conference. Many of the trends involve phrases and words that are becoming familiar to many who are only marginally involved in technology, such as big data, cloud computing and on-demand services.
