Surgent Intros AI, Chat Webinar

Webinar point  Surgent Accounting & Financial Education is offering a webinar about ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence, one of four new educational sessions.

The two-hour CPE eligible courses include “The Risks and Benefits of ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence (CHT2), which will be available on May 2. All webinars initially be offered live and then will be available on-demand.

The first of the new webinars is A Complete Tax Guide to Exit Planning (EXP2) on April 19. On April 27, the scheduled session is Lessons Learned from Recent Accounting Malpractice Actions (AMA2). Finally, on May 11, Surgent offers Preparing for and Navigating a Potential Banking Crisis (PBC2).

The exit planning webinar is designed to provide CPAs in both industry and public accounting an understanding exit planning considerations for clients and will company exist planning for entity types such as C-corps, S-corps and partnerships.

The malpractice webinar overs an overview of accounting malpractice litigation to help accountants understand claims made against CPA firms and strategies to employ to avoid these.

The session about ChatGPT and AI is designed to cover proper adoption of these tools as a step toward drafting policies assist companies with their implementation and use.

Finally, with the collapse of FTX Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank, the banking criss webinar explores the challenges of the current monetary trends, the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, and insurance reserves. Attendees will analyze the impact on a variety of markets.

He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards.  Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals.
