Bowman Names Three Partners 1
Bowman & Co. has named three staff members to the partner ship group this month. The New Jersey CPA firm promoted Kenneth M. Drews, Michael Thilker and Josette Traversa.
Drewes joined the firm’s Governmental Services Department in 2009 with expertise in audits of county and municipal governments, school districts, charter schools, fire districts, and federal and state financial assistance programs.
Besides being a CPA, he is also licensed as a Registered Municipal Accountant, and as a Public School Accountant in New Jersey and is also a Certified Municipal Finance Officer. He has also been certified by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer.
Working in the Commercial Services Department, Thilker has worked at Bowman since April 2013 and is a CPA in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His clients mainly include housing authorities and non-profit affordable housing organizations and his experience includes audits of non-profits.
Traversa came to Bowman in September 2022 after near four years at CPA firm Citrin Cooperman where she was director of international tax services from November 2018 and partner from October 2021 until she joined Bowman. Before that, she spent two-and-a-half years at D&H Global Tax Group.
She primarily focuses on tax matters and is responsible for a wide range of individuals and businesses with experience that includes
tax consulting and review for individuals, partnerships and S Corporations.

Jerry Connor, who worked at CCH/Wolters Kluwer for 24 years, has joined Sage as product evangelist. Conner's recent job change was shown this week on his LinkedIN profile, which says he will be working with products such as Sage Live and Sage View for Accountants.

Jeff Gramlich has left AccountantsWorld. Gramlich's LinkedIn profile shows that he left the Hauppauge, N.Y.-based software company to form Gramlich Consulting in February after serving as president of AccountantsWorld from August 2013. The company has issued no official statement about his departure.

Intuit Names New Marketing VP

Intuit has named Lucas Watson as chief marketing and sales officer. He replaces Caroline Donohue, who said in February she would retire after 21 years with the software company. Watson will begin his job on August 22.
Watson came from Google where he served as VP of global brand solutions and innovations and had worked there from June 2011.

XCM Solutions has hired tax and accounting industry veteran Marc Montpas as VP of sales. His responsibilities with the Quincy, Mass.-based software company include building out and leading the sales organization in North America and expanding into new markets and product areas.
RSM Names Tax Consulting Leader

RSM US has named E.J. Nedder to serve as national tax consulting services leader. His responsibilities included developing strategies to grow tax consulting services. The firm said in a prepared statement he is also charged with "positioning RSM US as the preeminent first-choice advisor for middle-market leaders' tax consulting needs."

Boomer Consulting has named Jim Boomer as CEO to succeed his father and founder L. Gary Boomer. The Manhattan, Kan.-based firm also selected Sandra Wiley as president, Dustin Hostetler as chief innovation officer, and L. Gary Boomer as visionary and strategist.

LBMC has brought in Suzanne Reed as director of marketing, taking over the job from long-time employee Leisa Gill. Gill, who had been marketing director since March 1997, has been named to the new position of director of client experience. The Nashville, Tenn.-based accounting firm made the announcement this month but the two directors' LinkedIn profiles show the events were effective in November.

Bloomberg BNA has named two individuals to top jobs. The Arlington, Va.-based publishing promoted Dan Fine to the position of COO earlier this month and hired Christina Correira as chief human resources officer in February. Both report to CEO President Greg McCaffery.
Product Officer Norton Leaving Xero

Chief product officer Angus Norton is leaving Xero after working in that position since October 2014. Based in New Zealand, Norton is returning to his home in Seattle, Wash. His duties are being taken over by Duncan Ritchie, chief platform officer, with the product and platform teams being merged together as the cloud-based software company completes its platform migration to AWS.
