Rippling Expands EOR Program 2

Rippling has expanded its Employer of Record program to eight new countries. The change is part of the latest monthly release of the office application.
With EOR, a user can establish a legal entity in a country outside the United States, giving the user the ability to hire and pay employees in other countries. The latest additions are Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, Israel, New Zealand, the Philippines, Switzerland and Turkey.
In addition, Rippling is providing hourly workers with a weekly break down of pay on paystubs so they can see hours worked, including overtime, for each of the weeks included in the pay period.
Users can now down payroll comparison data as a CSV file. Rippling says it has also provided more efficient time-entry CSV imports for Time an Attendance since users can automatically reconcile timestamps based on the employee’s timezone and
filter down to a specific set of imported entries and delete only those
They can also import thousands of entries in seconds, versus 30 minutes.

BenefitMall, which offers employee benefits and payroll services, is being sold by one investment group to another. The Carlyle Group has agreed to purchase the Dallas, Texas-based company from Austin Ventures. Terms were not disclosed.

Community Brands, which has expanded in the nonprofit market by acquisition, has secured three more target companies. The St. Petersburg, Fla.-based software vendor had purchased 501 Auctions and Gesture and has an agreement to acquire GiveSmart.

Arxis Technology, led by two CPAs well known in the profession, is becoming part of RKL eSolutions of Lancaster, Pa. Simi Valley, Calif.-based Arxis is led by David Cieslak and Bob Gaby. Cieslak is known for his presentations about technology under the name "Inspector Gadget."

Intuit Buying TSheets for $340M

Intuit is acquiring TSheets, an Eagle, Idaho-based company, that markets time tracking software. The deal is expected to close in the quarter ending January 31 with the TSheets Time Capture application becoming a product handled by Intuit's Small Business and Self-Employed Group.

Compensation for four top Intuit executives dropped for the year ended July 31. Pay in three of four major compensation categories declined for each as stock and option awards, along with non-equity incentive compensation, all fell.
