Xero Selects Toronto for Tech Hub

Xero has established a product and technology hub in Toronto, Ont. The cloud software company said this week the first operations to there will include global payment and billing, along with  data, AI and machine learning teams.

 Tony Ward, president of Xero’s Americas operations, did not mention the number of employees to be based in Canada. But he wrote in a newsletter this week, “We’re seeking Toronto’s best data scientists, product managers, software developers, quality engineers, UX designers and researchers, DevOps and software development managers.”
