OfficeTools 3.2 has been launched by AbacusNext. New is APX PayNow, a capability of the Abacus Payment Exchange, which enables users to automatically send invoices directly to a client’s inbox or SMS text. 


Payments are made through a secure online site and OfficeTools is immediately notified of the payment. The system supports single and mass billing.

The application also, now leverages Microsoft Active Directory, which means users can directly access practice data and tools.  Via the Single Sign On feature, OfficeTools administrators can map OT users to their Windows accounts, eliminating the need for a separate username and password. Users can also mass update document records, changing  contacts relationships, applicable year, projects and categories

In addition, version 3.2 adds sorting functionality specifically designed to highlight missing client information. The new release also introduced improved automated client reminders, which can now automatically be set to send email and SMS text notices to appointment attendees.
