Intuit has renamed one of its Facebook pages and with that move, it has removed the last vestige of its effort to rebrand products under the ProLine brand. The Intuit ProLine Facebook page was the last service to use the ProLine name until the last few days when it was replaced by Intuit Accountants.
The ProLine name first appeared about two years ago with Intuit proposing to have a broad brand and it applied ProLine to the names of its online tax preparation software, tax research and online practice management application, which is still a work in progress.
However, during the fall the brand was dropped. ProLine Tax was renamed Intuit Tax Online and the tax research product carries the name of the company's ProSeries and Lacerte tax preparation products, depending on which one a customer uses and the practice management program, which has been in a test program for almost two years, was renamed Intuit Practice Management.
