Avantax, which offers financial planning services, has created the Avantax Women’s Advisor Forum. The company said it is part of the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts for female financial professionals.
Laura Stack, VP of business development, has been named the Forum’s head and will work with the Avantax leadership to develop the forum. She will expand relationships with industry groups and associations such as the Financial Services Institute.
Stock, who joined Avantax three years ago, spent 21 years in executive positions with LPL Financial, which says it is the nation’s largest broker dealer and provides advice in the retail financial market.
She was director of business development for the Wealth Consulting Group in 2018 and 2019 and was head of relationship management for Cetera Advisors in 2017 and 2018.
