Liberty Tax logoVIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Courses taught at the Liberty Tax tax schools this fall have been enhanced to discuss the future accreditation of tax preparers, including the need for paid preparers to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number by January 1, along with other requirements of proposed regulations by the Internal Revenue Service.

Liberty offers three tiers of skill certification with classes from basic through advanced. The curriculum covers all schedules, credits and forms for individual return preparation and provides instruction on the fundamentals preparing returns on paper and via computer.

Courses are offered twice a week and are offered from September through November at Liberty sites throughout the nation. Information about registration and schedules is available at www.libertytax.com or by calling 800-658-1042
