Blackbaud Creates Global Sales Position

Patrick Hodges, Blackbaud Blackbaud has promoted Patrick Hodges to the position of SVP of global sales. It is the first time the nonprofit software company has had a global sales leader and the Charleston, S.C.-based organization described the move as reinforcing its commitment to worldwide growth.

Blackbaud also named Hodges to the senior leadership team, reporting to CEO Mike Gianoni. He was previously VP of sales and had joined the company in 2001.

The company additionally named Jeff Moses as VP of sales for its general markets group. Moses was with Informatica from July 2105 through this month where he was SVP and GM of Informatica Cloud. Before that, he worked at SAP from August 2007 through July 2015.

In his last seven months there, Moses was COO for customer engagement and commerce for the Americas. For much of his SAP career, he was involved with the software vendor's cloud operations.

Bob Scott
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards.  Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He  has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.  A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
