Anchin Picks NFP Leader

 Accounting firm Anchin has made Brian Sackstein a partner in the firm’s Services Group and Leader of Anchin’s Not-for-Profit and Healthcare practice this month.

Sackstein provides audit, accounting, and management advisory services for a wide range of the NFP sector including social service organizations, permanency and adoption services, residential group care, drug treatment programs, community & migrant programs, and federally qualified health centers.

He was previously a partner with accounting firm Armanino from June 2022 until taking the new position this month. Before that, he was a partner with Prager Metis CPAs from June 2019 through June 2022.

He was previously a partner with Berdon for almost two years; with Marcum for four-and-a-half years and was a director with RSM McGladrey for six years four months.

Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards.  Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He  has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.  A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
