Surf Accounts Enters U.S.

Surf Accounts, a cloud-based bookkeeping system, has entered the United States. The Ireland-based company recently opened offices in New York, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif., and is offering a partner program to accountants and bookkeepers.

Program members pay for services starting at $9.95 per month with pricing for accountants and bookkeepers scaling depending on the number of licenses they require. Surf says prices are discounted up to 80 percent of the price of competing applications.

For businesses that buy directly from Surf, the subscription-based platform offers three editions—starter, standard and enterprise. The Starter edition is priced at $19.95 per month for a single user and includes 20 invoices. Features include invoicing, tax, banking, vendors, general ledger, and dashboard and reporting. The subscription is available for one-year for a total of $219.45 or $658.35 for three years.

At $26.95 per month, the Standard edition adds estimates and orders and CRM. The one-year subscription is $296.45 and three years is priced at $889.35. Enterprise, priced at $39.95 monthly, adds multi-currency and inventory to the features available in the Standard plan. A one-year subscription is $439.45; three years is $1,318.35

For all three plans, additional users are $3.95 monthly each and additional time users are $9.95 monthly each.
