Bassets logoBassets eDepreciation, a Web-based package, provides three different landing pages, determined by a user preference setup, which give role-based views to users. The product has management, asset administrator and asset manager home pages, each providing different data views. A new install procedure ensures correct administrator privileges and proper separate of data from the software applications.

The management home page gives seven summary views to present critical information in a simple format, which offering calculations provide instant screen refresh for any accounting period during current, prior and/or future tax years, along with a drill-down feature. The asset administrator detail home page enables asset records to be entered with as few as four pieces of information. The system automatically populates the rest based on business rules. The system can also handled complete or partial asset transfer and disposal with detail audit trail and reporting, while intelligent data checking and built-in error checking to ensure checking with tax and GAAP regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements. The asset manager's row-and-column view is designed to manage an organization's capital assets by month, quarter or year. Small groups of assets can be viewed by any combination of fields.
