Liberty Tax is seeking a new CEO  following the resignation of Nicole Ossenfort, who has held the job since February 2018. Ossenfort is returning to operate Liberty franchises in South Dakota.  The company also announced results that revenue and tax returns prepared for fiscal 2019 plunged.

Val Steed, widely known as a consultant and CPE presenter in the accounting community, has accepted a position as director of accountants for Zoho. Steed, a shareholder, is best known for his work with K2 Enterprises since January 1989.

BigTime Software has closed a $14 million investment round. The Chicago, Ill.-based firms markets time and billing software for professional services firms.
