TaxAct Xpert Help can be added to any of TaxAct's products, including TaxAct Free. The company said the latter now supports reporting unemployment income at no charge.
Four levels of Xpert Help are available, including $35 for the purchasers of the company’s Free offering; a $74.95 promotional price for the Deluxe edition for homeowners and those with deductions, credits and adjustments. For $94.95, Premier adds support for investments, such as stocks, rental homes and sale of problems. Finally, freelance income and business and farm income, among other topics, is covered under the Self-Employed edition for $139.95.
