IRS Seeks Committee Members

irslogoThe Internal Revenue Service has opened up nominations memberships for the Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee. IRPAC is a federal advisory group that provides recommendations to the IRS on information reporting issues and presents an annual report to the IRS Commissioner each fall.

There are 22 volunteer committee members who are appointed to three-year terms by the Commissioner. Nominations are being accepted for up to seven appointements for terms beginning in January. The submission deadline is May 31. Candidatesmay nominate themselves or may be nominated by a professional organization. All nominees must complete an application.
