Drake to Launch Portal
Drake Software is readying SecureFilePro, a file exchange portal that will be ready for tax season. Franklin, N.C.-based Drake says the product will launch next month. SecureFilePro gives tax professionals a customized web address and the ability to brand the site with their businesses' name and logo. Taxpayers will also be able to upload documents such as tax returns.
The portal integrates with the Drake Document Manager. The number of accounts will be unlimited with storage available for up to 5GB. Under the Basic Plan, users pay $9.95 a month. Customers can add 5GB of additional storage for $10 more per month. A two-week trial version is available for free.
