Thomson Expands Certificate Program

Ken Koskay, Thomson ReutersThomson Reuters is making its Checkpoint Learning Tax Research Certificate Program available to the academic market, the company said this week. The program, deviled by the CPEasy platform, is designed to helps students develop their tax research knowledge.

 

"This program serves as an enhancement to the traditional curriculum, preparing students with high-quality training and essential skills to stand out to potential employers and ensure success in their future career," Ken Koskay, SVP of learning solutions with the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters, said in a prepared statement.

The company does not disclose the number of certificates awarded. But in response to an email question, Koskay said, "We are now seeing many professionals in the completion stage of the process - that is, that have completed the case study and are receiving feedback via the manual grading process. So far we are very pleased with sales and customer feedback about the program."
