QB Assisted Bookkeeping Tests

Intuit has begun testing QuickBooks Live Assisted Bookkeeping. It’s the latest development since Intuit introduced QB Live Bookkeeping, full-service bookkeeping in 2019.

Intuit describes Lived Assisted Bookkeeping as a “do-it-with-me experience” for businesses that wish to manage their own books. It involves the same concept as the original TurboTax Live in which users can connect with an expert.

The tests involves a “few hundred small business customers” not attached to a ProAdvisor or accounting professional. However, Intuit says on input from these organizations it expects to make the available in a few months.

It will not market the service to any business connected to a ProAdvisor or accountant.

Customers subscribe to Assisted Bookkeeping by using the Live Bookkeeping tab in the QuickBooks left navigation bar. Once subscribed, business owners can utilize the tab to submit a request for a call from an expert.

Members of the assisted team are Intuit employees, and QB Online or Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisors and professionals with active certifications, experiences managing books and a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
