MCM Names Four Tax Partners

 MCM CPAs and Advisors has named four new partners. All four of the individuals who assumed their new roles last month—Emily Blumentfeld, Chad Gahm, Annamarie Reilly and Jeremy Thomas—are tax partners.

Besides becoming a tax partner, Blumenfeld is leading MCM’s Estate, Trust and Gift Tax division. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, she has experience in estate, gift, and trust tax compliance and consulting, primarily supporting multi-generational high-net-worth families. She joined the firm as a tax manager in January 2016.

.Chad Gahm, based in the Louisville, Ky., office, focuses on clients within the manufacturing and real estate fields. Gahm, who spent more than four years as an audit senior at Ernst & Young, joined the then Mountjoy Chilton Medley in December 2009 and spent five years six months at the firm before spending four years as a controller with Kitchen Kompact. He joined MCM in September 2019 as a senior tax manager.

Also based in Cincinnati, Reilly specializes in the Not-For-Profit industry, with a wide range of experience in research, planning and compliance for complex tax. Formerly a tax manager, she came to MCM in. July 2016. She spent nearly 12 years with Elliott Davis Decosimo. Before that,  Reilly was with KPMG from January 2002 through January 2005 where she was a tax reviewer.

Another Cincinnati-based partner Thomas serves clients in the manufacturing, private equity, and real estate industries, specializes in the needs business clients that use a pass-through entity structure. Thomas was hired by MCM in September 2016.
