The American Institute of CPAs has hired Marta Zaniewski as VP of state regulatory and legislative affairs. She will serve the AICPA’s primary voice and contact on those areas.Zaniewksi will work with state CPA societies, state boards of accountancy, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, the Alliance for Responsible Professional Licensing and state legislative and executive branch officials.
She was previously assistant VP for advocacy and external engagement at the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Prior to taking that petition, Zaniewski served as director of external engagement at the American Institute of Architects, and as a Political Action Committee manager for the National Association of Realtors.
