O’Gorman has worked with Hewitt since 1989 when she joined Jackson Hewitt, the company he founded in 1982. She was communications director with that company until John Hewitt left that company O’Gorman moved with him to Liberty, which he founded in January 1997.
Hewitt started Loyalty Brands in September 2017, the month he was fired as CEO of the tax services company.
