Intuit’s Consumer Leader to Shift Roles

Dan Wernikoff, IntuitDan Wernikoff, the EVP who has led Intuit’s Consumer Group, is shifting roles. CEO Brad Smith said during this week’s earnings webcast that after Intuit ends its year on July 31, Wernikoff will move into a role working with Smith on strategic projects.

Smith did not provide a title for Wernikoff or any details about the new role.

Wernikoff, who has been with Intuit since 2003, had led the consumer group since May 2016. Before that, he managed the Small Business Group. At that time, Sasaan Goodarzi was EVP of the Consumer Group and he and Wernikoff switched roles in May 2016.

 Greg Johnson, SVP of marketing, will succeed Wernikoff, has been with Intuit since December 2012.
