Intuit Names New Marketing VP

Lucas Watson, IntuitIntuit has named Lucas Watson as chief marketing and sales officer. He replaces Caroline Donohue, who said in February she would retire after 21 years with the software company. Watson will begin his job on August 22.

Watson came from Google where he served as VP of global brand solutions and innovations and had worked there from June 2011.

However, before that he worked at Proctor and Gamble from June 1994 through June 2011. In his last three years, Watson was global marketing director, digital business strategy, eCommerce, branded entertainment. Intuit founder Scott Cook came out of P&G, which is known for its expertise in product development and marketing.
