Waugh will continue consulting with select Rainmaker clientele, writing and speaking at industry meetings. Brooks, who joined the firm in 2013, as VP of consulting, was involved in building the McGladrey Alliance from a group of 12 to more than 100 firms. Angie Grissom, who has been president since August 2001, continues in her role as president and COO.
Waugh Hands Rainmaker to New CEO
The Rainmaker Companies, which provide consulting and training resources for the accounting profession, have named J. Daniel Brooks as CEO. He replaces Troy Waugh, who has stepped aside from day-to-day duties after 23 years as CEO of the business he founded.
