Reznick Hires Real Estate Principal

Deborah J. Levinson, Reznick GroupThe Reznick Group, a Bethesda, Md.-based CPA firm, says Deborah J. Levinson, a  CPA and real estate professional, has joined the firm as principal in charge of the commercial real estate practice. Levinson will expand Reznick's operations in this field throughout the New York metro area. She has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting and real estate industries.

Levinson spent from 2004 through 2011 at Forest City Ratner Companies where she was EVP and CPO. From 1995 through 2004, she was a partner at Ernst & Young. From 1980 through 1995, she was a partner with the former Kenneth Leventhal & Co. Levinson has worked with public and private clients including developers, investors, owners, property managers, private equity funds, specialty finance companies, and REITs in a wide range of real estate sectors including office, retail, multifamily, single family, hospitality and industrial. Her services to these sectors include accounting, tax, workouts and restructurings, loan, property and company acquisitions, IPO consulting, sales due diligence, property management advisory, forensic accounting and expert witness testimony.
