Thomson, PrimeGlobal to Produce Events

Thomson Reuters and PrimeGlobal have agreed to produce a series of events about the accounting, tax and audit industry. Under the multi-year agreement, the organizations will offer virtual events on topics such as goal development and organizational leadership.

The agreement also involves international events and kicks of May 15 with a Latin America-focused seminar Stepping Up into Tomorrow: Making Your Development Plan Work for You”. That event discusses developing a career path in the accounting, tax and audit communities. 

The next session on June 1 explores how women have navigated their experiences, while sharing advice to others as they advance in the field.

PrimeGlobal is an association of independent about 300 independent public accounting firms in 80 countries.

Bob Scott
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards.  Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He  has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.  A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism, Bob is a native of Madison, Ind
