Programmers Develop Covid-19 Tools

Software developers are coming to market with tools to track developments during the pandemic. Among these are users of business intelligence tools from Qlik, such as the Copley Consulting group which has designed a Qlik-based virus tracking application.

 

Copley’s offering tracks the virus across financial markets and environmental conditions. It brings together data from multiple sources including Johns Hopkins, the World Health Organization and the Federal Environmental Protection Agency, along with unemployment statistics. It can  also  daily, weekly and monthly critical data elements to provide holistic view.

The software enables individuals to visualize key metrics such as Total Cases, Mortality Rates and Recoveries globally and correlating with correlated financial and environmental information. Users can compare country, region, state, and local critical data points.

Other applications can be accessed on the Qlik Community web page, along with non-software resources such as LinkedIn posts and YouTube links. These offerings include the following:
