Intuit Intros QB Live Bookkeeping

Intuit formally introduced QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping this week. The software company had been publicly informing the public about various tests and components of the program, including pricing tests for the last few months.

QB Live is described as being designed for small businesses that do not have an accountant or bookkeeper. Under the program, Intuit hires bookkeeping and accounting professionals who deliver services to small businesses.

Intuit is offering three pricing levels. These start with low-volume bookkeeping for businesses have up to $25,000 in monthly expense. The list pricing is $270 per month with a promotional price of $235 per month for the first three months.

The price for medium-volume bookkeeping is $470 per month, with a three-month promotional pricing of  $435 per month. This category encompasses businesses with $25,001 to $150,000 in monthly expenses. At the high end is high-volume bookkeeping for organizations with $150,001 and more in monthly expenses. The promotional pricing is $635 per month for the first three month and regular pricing of $670 monthly.

Professionals interface with these clients through video chat. Intuit says members of the team will “maintain, update, fix, reconcile, and categorize transactions in your books throughout the month. At the end of each month, your bookkeepers will review/close your books and deliver reports by phone or video chat.”

To participate, professionals must be QB Online certified and must have experience with small businesses.
