Intuit Tests Bookkeeping Prices

bookkeepingIntuit has launched a test of pricing for QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping. The company said in a blog post this week it is testing a range of prices which depend on a customer’s subscription level for QB Online, along with a one-time set-up fee for new customers.

Prices being tested range from $400 a month to more than $600 a month while the test set-up fee is $150.

Intuit also said on the Firm of the Future web site it has hired more accounting professionals to support the tests. “This will be a remote staff, some of whom are tax experts who’ve previously been part of our TurboTax Live team.”

The company said the QB Live bookkeeping service is designed for small business not currently using a ProAdvisor, bookkeeper, or accountant. Intuit said it has not determined the basic scope of services or how much ProAdvisors/bookkeepers will be paid.
