Serenic Software, Bellamy Combine

SerenicSerenic Software, which markets accounting software for nonprofit organizations, has absorbed Bellamy Software. Both companies are owned by Sylogist, a publicly held Canadian business.

Headquartered in Lakewood, Colo., Serenic markets Serenic Navigator, an NFP accounting package built on the Dynamics NAV financial line. Continuing under the Serenic name, the company is incorporating Bellamy's Analytics, Budgeting, Asset Management, Revenue and Operating modules into the Serenic Navigator line.

Bellamy's focus has been on providing financial applications for midsize public sector organizations and educational institutions in Canada. Serenic said the combination will add 10 individuals to its staff, along with 53 customers.

Serenic will continue to operate offices in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Alberta. Sylogist purchased the desktop Serenic Navigator line from the publicly held Serenic Corp in 2014.
