Cost is a persistent mis-perception about cloud computing. Is the cloud more or less expensive? Just as would-be users fear limited functionality, perceived security vulnerabilities, or even have a basic fear of the unknown, some people believe that software as a service costs more than buying and running a server in-house. This perception often prevents likely users from pursuing a cloud solution.

Decades since the introduction of personal computing there are still too many business technologies that don't work. Oh, the hardware and software firms will tell you that they do. But they still don't get it. For example, go to Microsoft's support site and type in "Microsoft Word Error" (leave out the quotes). I did this and got 2,380,000 results. Is this indicative of something working?
