IRS logoWASHINGTON β€” The Internal Revenue Service will hold a Webinar regarding the new registration requirements for professional tax preparers next week. The hour-long β€œNew Requirements for Tax Return Preparers – Learn the Who, What, When and How" will be Webcast on Wednesday June 9 at 2 p.m Eastern time.

Topics to be discussed include preparer tax identification numbers, competency testing, preparer tax compliance verification checks and the e-file mandate. Conducted under the IRS Live program, this Webcast features a panel comprised by David R. Williams, executive lead for Return Preparer Regulations Implementation, IRS; Conrad Davis, Ueltzen & Co.; and Bill Parrish, Private Practice Group.
