The Internal Revenue Service is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee, which provides feedback on the policies, programs and procedures of electronic tax administration. Resumes should be submitted and applications submitted by March 15. Members cannot be federally registered lobbyists. Committee members are approved by the Secretary of the Treasury and for three-year terms. The Committee submits an annual report to Congress in June regarding progress at the IRS with electronic transactions. Members include tax practitioners, electronic return transmitter, tax software developers, large and small businesses, employers, payroll service providers, financial industry representatives, system integrators and academics.
