Ruda's job is to work with all parts of the tax and accounting operations to lead development of functional and geographic strategy and to spur growth. He was most recently VP of strategy development for troubled Nokia, which just hired Microsoft executive, Steven Elop, as its CEO. Before he joined Nokia in 2004, Ruda spent seven years withThe Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm, Sweden, and Helsinki, Finland. Besides rolling out global products, Thomson signaled its plans to expand into Latin America this year. In March, it announced that Jon Baron, who had headed its software operations in Dexter, Mich. (the former Creative Solutions operations), had been named as president of the Americas, workflow and service solutions. | |||
