A group called Social CPAs is seeking accountants' opinions about the use of social media. The group, lead by CPA Barry MacQuarrie, is closing out its second annual survey on Friday September 2. As with last year's survey, the 2011 version asks which sites accountants use and how they use them. "Our goal is to find out how people in the accounting profession are adopting and/or avoiding social media," says MacQuarrie, who is director of technology at KAF Financial Group, which is based in Braintree, Mass. The survey is accessible at this address: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SocialCPAs-2011-Survey | |||
