John Morphy, the chief financial officer at Paychex, is retiring after 15 years in that position. He will be succeeded by Efrain Rivera, a former CFO at Bausch & Lomb. Rivera takes over on June 1 while Morphy will stay at the payroll services company through the end of the year. Rivera, who left Bausch & Lomb in 2009, spent 20 years with that company and helped transition it to private ownership. In the interim, he served as VP of finance and administration at Houghton College. Morphy, who joined Paychex in October 1995, took the CFO job the next year. | |||
