Thomson Reuters is rolling out a new Web site for its CS Professional software operations, which include the UltraTax and NetClient lines, that puts an increased emphasis on the services that the company has available, and not just on its software products. "We have always had a prominent position for our products. Our services are taking much more prominent spot," says Scott Fleszar, senior director of marketing for the Dexter, Mich.-based unit.

Services will be highlighted in a section called Thought Leadership that encompasses the company's user conference, partner summits, preferred partners and services such as training and business and product consulting. Services include training and consulting regarding the use of company products, including implementation services along with providing firms with advice on business efficiency. The preferred partners featured in the Thought Leadership section include RootWorks, Boomer Consulting and Build Your Firm,

"We are going to help firms determine where they are at today with technology and processing," says Fleszar. Consulting will produce road maps for process improvement. While Thomson has offered these services for about three years, it has not given them prominence.
