Int uit is dropping its free online Billing Manager application on September 30. The company is offering users of the cloud-based product its QuickBooks Online Simple Start at no charge for one year as a replacement.
The company said in a post on the Billing Manager blog "We recognize it's difficult to move from a free solution to one with a monthly fee. We hope waiving the fees for one year helps ease the transition and that you find QuickBooks Online provides a rich alternative for managing your invoicing needs and more," The QuickBooks product has a normal price of $12.95 per month.
